Age Ratings

One of the primary duties of the Department of Electronic Entertainment is to evaluate video games and determine their age appropriateness.  While retailers and consumers are under no legal obligation to adhere to these guidelines, it is strongly recommended that our Ratings System be observed voluntarily.

The Rating Categories are as follows:

C71: For children of 71 months and younger.

T17: Suitable for teens between 10 and 17.

OA: Only Adults over the age of 18.

E-17: Must only be played by persons who are exactly 17

40+: Recommended for gamers over the age of 40.
